Data Analytics Product Designer
Contract Position: 3-6 months with possible extension | Remote

We provide business consultants (Actionable Consulting Partners) with a scalable technology solution that drives measurable change in organizations.
We are actively seeking a seasoned Product Designer with data visualization experience to help – in a contract position -quarterback our latest product iteration, Actionable Insights. As Product Designer, you will play a key role in the overall strategy and execution of the Actionable Insights launch, and will ultimately be responsible for ensuring our users are able to gain great insight from Actionable Insights. The Data Analytics Product Designer (Contract) will also support the enablement efforts for the broader Actionable user base.
If you’re a person who is experienced in designing clean, insightful dashboards and data analytics creation, and has strong communication chops, you will excel in this project.
You are:
- Experienced in designing and managing the creation of dashboards and reports in a SaaS product
- Obsessed with the user experience of technology products
- Experienced with driving impactful product launches, including communications and enablement
- Speaking with customers to understand their pain points and priorities
- Communicating priorities with stakeholders
- Collaborating with members of the team
- Working remotely in a fast paced environment
Extra awesome
- You have experience with Looker (or related BI tool)
- You have experience working in the learning and development, behaviour change or education industry
What you’ll do
In the contract role as Product Designer, you’ll be responsible for:
- Improving the overall user experience design of Actionable Insights
- Empowering the organization to discover the best solutions to users’ problems
- Contributing to the analytics project vision
- Prioritizing analytics initiatives for business growth
- Conducting and analyzing user reviews, surveys, and interviews
- Discovering and testing ideas, receiving feedback from users to refine dashboards and reports
- Collaborating with customer success team to create communications and enablement plan
- Supporting the Project Management team as they ideate product marketing campaigns to help increase adoption and awareness of the product
- Collaborating with engineering to find the most feasible solutions to problems
- Testing product to ensure quality standards are met
What you’ll need
The following experience is relevant to us:
- 5+ years experience working in a SaaS company in a product capacity
- Experience building dashboards and reports leverage embedded BI tools (Looker preferred, but experience with other embedded analytics tools also accepted)
- A proven track record of success in working with engineers, and various stakeholders to accomplish great things
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
- Experience with user testing and using metrics to drive project development
- Comfortable engaging with users, conducting research, and smartly integrating insights into product development
